Craft: Congratulations Butterfly Card (Pencil LinesSketch 148)

Pencil Lines posted a card sketch for this week...and I couldn't resist! Lately, this is my new favorite shape/size card. I think it lends itself to more variety because of the added length:
Anyway, I've been wanting to use this butterfly paper (BasicGrey) and couldn't decide what to do with it...and then I decided it'd be perfect for this card because I could use a strip of butterflies on the left of the card just like the strip on the left of the sketch.
I used a black cardstock base and added cream to the inside. I cut the right back side of the card into a scallop. Then I used my Cricut to cut the scallop circle in a black pattern and orange solid (chalked the orange to mute it a little). I matted those with cream cs and added another butterfly to the center, matted in black. I tied two orange ribbons to the scallop circle and attached it with adhesive foam. The sentiment is a CTMH stamp on cream cs.

TFL!!! :)
