While at my friend Jen's house this weekend, I was able to go through my photos and organize/delete to get them ready to be printed...I'm talking TWO YEARS WORTH!!!
Anyway, I found a photo I took of this flower pot card I made for my mom for mother's day a couple of years ago, before I had a blog. Forgot about it until I saw the photo and thought I'd post it! I have no idea what cartridge(s) I used, but I'm thinking by looking at it, maybe WIMG or Accent Essentials?
Just pull the flowers and the card/sentiment comes out from the pot. It's not a new idea...like I said, I made this a couple of years ago. But I still think it's a nifty little concept and could be modified for a lot of different themes: Christmas toys coming out of a stocking, sun coming out from behind the clouds, lid coming off of a stock pot, etc. My wheels are turning now!!! :)
Just want to mention that I draw inspiration from others, and you are welcome to use any of my original ideas for your personal use as well... I just ask that you give credit where credit is due and that you don't copy or re-create any of the artwork posted on here for submissions to contests, publications or for profit. Please provide a link to this blog for any projects/ideas inspired by my personal designs. THANKS!!! :)
I'm a stay at home mom (aka "Household CEO") and have two happy, energetic and beautiful children and the best husband in the world! I have been paper crafting for ten years and I try to craft whenever possible, focusing on invitations and party decorations for my kids' (and my friends' kids'!) birthdays. Thanks for taking the time to stop by and visit!
